It has happened, the social networks are now being used as a database for a search engine called SearchMerge. SearchMerge allows you to input your search keywords and then queries Twitter, YouTube, Flickr, FriendFeed, LastFM, Technorati, Vimeo and Google. SearchMerge allows you select from multiple popular social sites to get merge real-time search results. Like a search engine you get search results that will include rich media content with text, images, and video all appear inline and you be able to watch YouTube videos in the results time line and with tweets you can reply, retweet or view the full tweet.
Looks like the internet is going to be one big social networking site.

If you have listened to the TV or radio lately, you have heard about Twitter. Twitter is a push your message service that is limited to 140 characters per message. The fun part of the service is you can subscribe and read others comments or sayings. Others inturn can subscribe and read your messages also, if you want. There is a private if wanted option. Over time you develop friendships and find the latest news of the world, almost right after it happens.
The big push by celebrities is to see who has the most followers, these are the twitters that follow your messages. There are even give-aways to get you follow others. The Idea is to have hundred of thousands of followers that you can promote your wares or services. Some websites traffic have gone from 0 to 40 percent of visitors to their sites. Cool this is what I need. Me Twitter account. This social networking service is maturing to a business. It has upgrades about everyday. There are other twitter like services pushing to close in to be like Twitter.com. This service is great to send links for the latest news letter or blog post. I do not see any end in site at it becomes a more stable service.

The Social Networking Storm has applied itself on the internet thru Myspace, Facebook, Linkedin, StumbleUpon, Bebo and lets include a little old website called Twitter. Millions of Internet users and marketeers have made these sites a part of their daily routine to visit and post. I know lots of my time has been spent on twitter and others. Some of their technology features are made up differently, but there are focused on building a community. The different social networking sites users build and develop a sub-culture so to speek around each one. Like the Myspace has migrated to a teen site with Facebook for the college and older group. Still the other have their own demo grapics. It seems the Twitter site is getting all the press on TV, radio and around the internet.
The fun part about social networking the people you get to meet and help strangers connect to each other with shared interests like hobbies, local, political views, career type, or activities they take part in outside of social networking. I talk to one friend in India, New Delhi, that is a far piece from little ol Montevallo Alabama. Go figure.
