Can you imagine yourself on the perfect vacation? Sometimes everyone needs a vacation even if you are sitting at your desk with your eyes closed and it takes only 60 seconds. I was sitting at my desk one day and my secretary came in to give me a memo of a project that was being assigned. As she walked in she said she was sorry she thought I was asleep. I told her I was on vacation. She asked me where I was on my 60 second vacation and I told her I was in the Carolinas on the beach. She then said she would have to try that and left the papers. My boss came by later that day and as he wanted to see me, my secretary opened my door and saw my chair turned backwards and told my boss that she thinks I am on vacation. She said much to her surprise he laughed and walked out. I did not hear from him the rest of the day until we were leaving. As we walked to the parking lot he asked me if I had a good vacation! When I told him what actually happened he said he knew what she meant because he does it,too! He then said every time we come to his office and he is”in a meeting” he is actually on a 60 second trip himself and he is on Outer Banks vacations in the Carolinas! I told him on my next vacation I would see him there.
