I can not imagine how difficult life must have been before there were barcode scanner! As I look at the amazing inventories that stores today have to carry I can not see a way that it could be done without the barcode scanners. This is one of those times that inventions are keeping up with the growth of society. There is no telling what our futures will hold as well as the futures of our children in the world of inventions but it is exciting to think about!
