A friend of ours is in the military. Although he loves serving our country he said there is alot that has to happen in your personal life when you are deployed. You can not just walk away from your life for an unknown period of time. So he began telling us all of the arrangements that he had to make since he received deployment papers. One thing that he found most difficult was his pets. I had not thought about people that do not have someone at home to take care of their pets while they are gone. He and his wife are in the military and are both deployed. They then told me about long term dog boarding. He said he then knows his dogs are safe and waiting for him when he gets back. I can see this service would be a very important one. People having to go through an extended hospital stay or any other situation that keeps you from home for an extended period of time could use this service instead of having to part with their pets. Let’s face it our pets are our family,too. The billion dollar pet supply industry is proof of that!
