Can you imagine how many people were in Toronto for the Olympics? The crowds that were there would have to eat somewhere so you know the restaurants were packed full especially the fast food ones! Although I doubt there was “fast” food anywhere. Those same people had to stay somewhere as well. That means the Toronto hotels had to be full to the top! The commerce for that time will truly help any community that it touches. So I would think that Toronto and the surrounding areas truly enjoyed the crowds and will enjoy the benefits for years to come.
