When I had braces as a child we had the railroads as they were referred to. I felt so sorry for those that had to endure the pain and embarrassment that these very intrusive braces caused because I was one of them! We had difficulty eating and headaches because of the soreness. Now our children have choices on their braces. No longer are the days of one size fits all if you need braces then you get a mouth full of metal! I have no idea how much wax I used during those years! Now there are teeth braces that are invisible. When my children needed braces I began to check on options. This invisible choice seem obvious to me. I have even seen invisible braces on a colleague at my office. I did not realize that they were wearing braces right away. You can get these braces at dentist like the Austin Invisalign Dentist. Since I noticed my colleague with these braces on i now see other adults with them on as well. When I spoke to my children about this choice for braces they said that many of their friends also have these invisible braces. Can you imagine what your school picture would have looked like with invisible braces instead of the picture that you see more silver then any thing else? You know you have the picture, many of us do!
