When there is a problem to be worked out between companies many times the customers are the winners. When things are resolved they are often better then before. This is not the case in the online eye wear vs. in-store eye wear because it is the customer that is caught in the middle. The eyeglass customers understand that the eye doctor’s office has overhead that they have to cover and bills to pay like everyone else. They have to make ends meet for themselves just as we do. That means not being able to give things away for free such as PD measurements. That is understood. Now the customer also has bills to pay which means watching the family dollar just as the eye doctor is doing. The difference is for many eyeglass wearers being able to order their eyeglasses online mean they can actually afford them due to the enormous savings. They do not have to pay the marked up prices that the in store doctors charge which makes the eyeglasses affordable. The economy is unstable at best so families have to find ways to survive financially. Being able to order their eyeglasses online and save so much, especially if you have a family that wears glasses as well, means the world to those that have had to cut expenses to the bare bones! When I read that the eye doctors are not releasing the PD measurements so these families can get the proper fit on the eyeglasses that they are wanting to order it gives me concern. What ever happened to people helping people?

Makes any suit look better

There is just something about getting all decked out and going to an event. It is not something that I like to do often but when I do I am always glad that I did it. We all got dressed up and went our recently with our designer clothes and designer ties. We had so much fun that I do not think anyone wanted it to end. I got so many compliments on my tie that I think maybe I should wear it more often. I usually save it so it will be with my dressier suit but it can make any suit look better besides that gives me a reason to buy another one!

There are so many jackets that are available for the fashion conscience. You can get bands, sports teams and Nascar jackets. You can even get cartoon characters if you want to. What ever you want on a jacket you can usually find it. I did not realize how popular these jackets are until my son wanted a jacket for his birthday. When he opened the gift box he said wow a jacket I can put anything I want on it! When we were young all of the jackets were plain. I guess that is a sign of the times. Billboards are everywhere.

Our bye buy clothes

My sister has decided to get married for the second time. She is ready to make this commitment and we all could not have been happier until she made this startling announcement,”I want you all in my wedding and it is going to be big with new tuxedo and evening gowns!” It was so funny to see the faces on everyone drop. We all want to see her happy and we all want to go and watch them unite in Holy matrimony but she started off wanting to get married on the beach! What happened to the crisp white shorts and bare feet thing we will never know! My son who is very young asked me ,”Daddy what is a tuxedo and why is everyone so sad about wearing one?” I told him that it is a special suit that you wear to special occasions and his response was,” Oh you mean like when mommy tells me to get out of my play clothes and put on my go bye bye clothes!” We all got the biggest laugh out of that so we now are calling our tuxedos our go bye bye clothes. When the tailor left a message on my phone at work several executives were in my office, as I realized who it was I just hit the speaker button and he loudly announced that my go bye bye clothes were ready to be picked up! I guess you know I will never live that one down!
