After my sister had to stay in the hospital for a short stay we became on of those people that just love to play Bejeweled. It was such a great way to pass the time in the hospital but it soon became something that we would do when we had other things to do because it was so much fun. We would call each other and discuss our high scores. Even the nurse int he hospital had been playing Bejeweled! She said that she does it on her break because she can get away from work for a few minutes and focus on something totally different. The more I talk to others about this game I find how really popular it is. It seems that everyone either plays it or knows someone who does. It has increased my focus when I am doing other things. I have noticed I think much sharper since I started playing because I think faster. That is a definite benefit.

Every since I was a young child my grandmother and I have enjoyed Bingo. We would play it every time she came to visit. There was just something about that game that she really enjoyed and so did I. When my grandmother passed away I stop playing. I guess without grandmother there to play with I did not think about playing it anymore. One day I was talking about my grandmother with my children and how she liked to play Bingo just like we like to play all of the board games we play. When I was telling my wife about how much interests that the children had in the Bingo game and the fact that we were all going in the morning to find us a Bingo game she smiled. She said that it was strange that I brought that up because she was surfing the net and found that there are bingo sites that you can play Bingo online. She said that she had thought about me and my grandmother playing Bingo for hours at a time and she knew I would be interested. The funny thing is as long as Bingo has been around and changed a little here and there it is still the same. Another weird thing is that she found the Bingo sites and the kids and I were talking about Bingo on the same day. I guess we were meant to get back into Bingo at this exact time. That means there will be fun ahead for my family! All I can say to that is BINGO!

Something about holidays and Wii

The holidays are practically here! we are so excited around our home. We have started all of the decorating that makes the season sparkle. There is no time more beautiful then Christmas time. Another thing that we all love to do around our home is shopping for each other. I already know that my daughters want a NINTENDO WII GAME SYSTEM. They have been playing with the neighbors Nintendo Wii since she got it for her birthday and they have mentioned several times that they want one of their own. They do not know that we have already been shopping and there is a nintendo wii console hidden in our attic right now. They have several things on their wish list but I think their nintendo wii entertainment system will be their biggest surprise! I think my favorite part about the holidays is giving people gifts that they least expect and watching them be surprised!

There are so many fun games that we have always played. When you find a partner to play backgammon it is one of those games that you can think up strategic moves on. I have played this game since I was a kid. I use to carry my backgammon briefcase around all the time. It is hard to believe that this game could get any better, but it has.
