Time of celebration

We receive a lot of invitations each year. We go to weddings and graduations as well as birthday parties filled with family and friends. We always have fun because it is a time of celebration. One of our favorite invitations to receive are baby shower invitations. We save all of our baby announcements and baby shower invitations and put them in a baby book. Looking back on the many little ones that have expanded our family is enjoyable. To see how big they are getting is simply amazing. As we watch our own little ones become young adults it reminds us how fast the time passes and how much we need to enjoy every moment. There is something so exciting about celebrating a new arrival. After all you have not even seen this little one and yet you know it will have a bright future. There are so many things to shop for and it is fun to see how the products have changed and in most cases advanced from the products we had available. The stroller that we just bought for our niece’s new arrival actually had shocks on it. I would think children learn to walk much later in their early years today with such a smooth ride to enjoy. Why walk? Our stroller bounced our little ones all over the place often causing them to drop their sippies! There were places in our zoo that we would have to pick them up from the strollers and carry the stroller with our babies on our hips. When I suggested that they take their smooth ride stroller to the zoo to test the shocks they informed us the zoo has totally redone their entire path system and it now has concrete everywhere. Now where is the fun in that I ask you? The most fun to be had at the old zoo was knowing where to zig and zag!

Rooms, design and fireplace

If you think about it you do not see very many corner fireplaces. When you think about how a room could be designed a corner fireplace does make sense. It opens the design of a room much more and gives many more options. We enjoy our fireplace very much. We look forward to lighting it every day. We enjoy it when it is cool outside all the way until there is snow on the ground. Our fireplace just seems to set the mood for our space and we love it. When it gets late in the evening and we all settle down to watch our favorite shows it is a great asset to the space to have our fireplace going. I can not ever imagine not having a fireplace. Being able to light a fireplace with a switch or gathering a load of our favorite woods all will give our space that special feel. There are instances where we can not have fresh woods and when that happens the switch lite fireplaces are a perfect fit. For those people that do not want to store or keep up with wood for their fireplace the switch fireplaces are also a great fit. For those people that have a certain wood they like to burn to get that smell from it as it burns a wood burning fireplace is vital. Of course the end result is a beautiful fireplace either way.

Industrial batteries

It seems everything we use these days needs batteries. When our children were a little younger we would get boxes of batteries for their holiday gifts and just keep them in the closet because we knew we would need them all. Many of their remote toys needed batteries in the controllers and the toys as well which made them very battery dependent. I recently read about industrial batteries such as the duracell procell d. It just makes sense that the industrial applications for batteries would be boundless. I had not thought about the fact that they would need a battery that had different strengths then the batteries that our children used like water just to watch one of their toys do the same thing for hours and hours. Of course both applications are important.

Many travelers use roof racks. The provide us with storage space that we do not have within the car itself. It is a comfortable solution to storage problems that occur during travel. The problem was the older racks could cause a decrease in gas mileage and they were noisy. The whispbar roof rack of today is much more aerodynamic which helps with fuel consumption as well as being much quieter for travelers. No more banging around on our car roofs as we hit the highways. As an invention is designed the years after the initial invention are spent perfecting the design and roof racks are no different and road travelers of today get to reap the benefits of the new designs.

Everyone loves music. The only difference may be what type of music everyone loves. There is something about music that makes even doing some of the most mundane tasks exciting. For many years I went with my mother from one arts and crafts event to another. I was in charge of carrying things from the car and setting up our booth. When I was done with our booth I would help others with theirs as well as carry their things from the vehicles. We would set up at night and many times we saw the sun come up while working. When the artists would sell their paintings I would wrap them in waxed paper to protect them and often carry them to the patrons cars. Since my mother was the head of the event I had to make certain that everything went as planned because she was often busy within her booth selling her work. I did not realize how much fun we were having until I look back on those times. I suppose it is a reminder to not let everyday events pass you by without totally appreciating how much fun you are actually having because their will be a day when you would love to be in that position again.
