As business owners we want nothing more then to keep our businesses safe against those that are out there that want nothing more then to steal from our businesses. Whether it be for information or for money there is always someone wanting to get it. After reading a Sophos blog you realize how much people need Data protection on their company’s computers. A lot of us do a great deal of our business on our computers as well as store all of our company’s information on them. There are things such as Antivirus as well as Security Software that we can install to keep our company’s private information protected. The fact that so many viruses are out there that can totally bring a company to it’s knees is a scary thought. If your company is like mine there are many people that work on the computers every minute making it an easy target for information vandals. Protection is the key to keeping your business up and running. Taking a proactive stance will keep you from being one of the many companies that have had to go through the nightmare of repairing something a virus has entered and destroyed. It is a long and costly process and unfortunately I know this first hand. Never again will I have anything not protected from viruses or theft.

If you are looking to get your website out in the world wide web and boost your page rank for the convetted on top spot you may need to use the services of paid web directories. By using the directories your blog can get out in the world much faster then with just blogging alone. It puts your website into a category which makes it easier for your website to be found by viewers. This will increase traffic and that is what we all want is more internet hits to get our domains out in the world wide web. The more people that see us the more successful our domains become.

Not sure if you have heard but Microsoft is at it again with it new Google killer search engine called Bing.  It looks like they have put lipstick on live.com and re-branded it Bing. I have been playing with Bing to check on rank results of my blogs and websites, It is my passion. Cool, one of my sites has a results of 792,000,000.  I am starting to like this search engine more.

This name change to Bing should be the  thing for Microsoft and  does not have to start over with some new search engine.  The search engine has a neat little feature where it lists your last search history on the side of the screen. Reminds me of Unix and history of commands that I used last. This one feature if a very useful tool when trying to do some keyword research.   The search results come very quickly once you insert your keywords or question.  I will play with more over the coming days to see things change as Microsoft spends hundreds of millions of dollars on advertising of Bing.com, there is TV, internet ads and infomercials.

We will see over the next coming months to see if Bing will deliver the traffic like Yahoo, to me that is what Bing needs to compare itself to first. Then Google.  What you think?
