There are some truly beautiful home lighting fixtures available for homes today. I still remember the days of lighting fixtures not packing a punch in the overall look of the rooms they were in. Now they can easily become the focal point. That was the results of our home tour recently. The colors of the glass that some of the fixtures used were amazing to us. The use of metals and woods as well as the use of different types of glass kept our interests as we went from one house to the next. Some of the fixtures were so elaborate they would not be for just any space or home. Others were understated and still others were simply a work of art. Many homes used well placed pendant light fixtures for accents. We opted to change our dining room light after seeing how truly beautiful the lighting could be. Now when anyone comes into our dining room they always comment on the lighting fixture. We actually smile every time they do because it gets the attention of everyone just as it did us. The furniture we bought for our dining room we actually bought to match the lighting fixture because we loved it so much. I can say we have never done that before but when you see it you just want to show it at it’s best potential. When we turn it on it is magic. We also added ceiling fan lights to our den and game room to give those rooms that something extra.

Electronics, wanting and finding online

We have so many birthdays coming up. That means I get to shop at ordis and pick out the electronics that everyone is wanting. It seems I can not go wrong when ever I shop for electronics. I have never had a complaint about electronics not fitting or being the wrong color. Of course one year I gave my brother a TV that did not fit their stand and when he saw it he was so happy that he bought a bigger stand the next day and I did not hear one complaint. See people do not mind if electronics do not fit. Sometimes they are more excited when it does not.

Hobby farms, animals and shoes

When we bought our hobby farm a few years ago I did not realize how many different things we would need to do the job right on caring for our farm. It is a ranch style home that is surrounded by a fence for our animals to be able to enjoy space to run and do the things they like to do. Maintenance on our farm requires tools and the right attire. We have to put on our jeans and work boots first thing in the morning and they are on all day. When we work with the larger animals we use steel toe boots so if we get stepped on our feet are safe. It just seems that work shoes and hobby farming go hand in hand. We can be out in water or in the woods and our boots have to be able to take the job on. It is a fun lifestyle and we would not change a thing but it is work and plenty of it. Something is always needing attention and there is no day off. The funny thing is as hard as the work is you feel so good at the end of the day. When the sun is setting and you look out over your land it is a good feeling that can be matched by few other things.

It does not seem like it would be a big deal but it has proven to be. Our office sends our different mail correspondences and we have custom labels on them. We get them in sheets so we always make certain to have plenty in stock. When we sent out invitations to an event we were having we did not realize that we were running so low on labels. We simply used some other labels we had used years before our new ones. We found that the labels we used from long ago did not bring any of our customers to our event. The customers that received our new labels that were more current everyone came. When questioned all of the customers that did not come which received the older labels they all responded the same. They did not know the invitation was from us because they did not recognize the label! We need to be certain that we keep a constant flow of labels from our home and office products store. You can bet the next time we have an event we will check our inventory on labels first!

Our office uses supplies and a lot of them. That is why we are always looking for a place for cheap ink. There are so many jackets out there to choose from. We need jackets that are durable and fashionable when we buy our coats. Sometimes we may be at an outdoor event and we want our jackets to not be bundle sum but to get the job done by keeping us warm. Then there are the times that we wear our coats to an event that we want them to have a more fashionable appeal. Some coats can do both and that is what attracted us to the North Face brand of jackets. They have a lot of different styles and colors to choose from and all of them we have used have surpassed what we needed from them. So when we think of jackets now we just naturally think North Face jackets. You can order North Face jackets online from a really large selection. Hospital stay and uniforms

When our daughter had to stay in the hospital she was so nervous. It was a scary time for all of us. During the night the nurses would come in and out of the room and each time they came she knew she was going to hurt. We decided that we would make a game out of it. When the hour mark came we would guess what scrubs the nurse would be wearing. They had many different nursing uniforms with different patterns so it was something we could do to pass the time and make her enjoy the nurses visits instead of fear them. She could not remember the nurses names so she named them by the pattern that was on their nurse uniform. The nurses were amazing that night and our daughter came home healed. The only thing that we will remember from that visit is a lot of memories filled with laughter and some amazing nurses.

Being around a lot of teenagers every day we see things that would have been glared at in the years of our growing up but for the teenagers of today it is the norm. Some things are really in style right now are body jewelry. I does not matter what type of body jewelry it seems to all get attention. We have seen some truly intricate pieces and then we have also seen some that were so simplistic it was surprinsing. It all works as a way for people to express themselves. We were in the store a couple of days ago and this girl in front of us had tongue rings on her mouth that the bling caught my eye. When she saw me looking she smiled and said they are eye catching aren’t they? She said that she and her sister went out together and bought the same rings so they could match even when they we not together. She went on to say that her father and her also shared a tattoo. There was something endearing about her that reminded me of my own daughter minus the rings and tattos for now!

When a friend of ours got his new job he was so excited about many of the perks of the job. They had the insurance that he needed and the vacation time and pay grade was the same as he had before. That meant they would not have to reduce their style of living which made everyone breath a sigh of relief. Another thing that he was excited about is he received a lap top computer of his own and he also got a lap desk that he could use for many purposes. The problem with the lap desk was everyone in his family can see how useful it is and they borrow it. He said often times he does not have it. He decided to fix this problem by giving lap desk to each of the borrowers in his family. He said at least he will have his when he needs it. they have all found uses for their own lap desk so something good came out of this career chance for everyone!
