The cold weather is here! My wife and I were doing the annual “bringing in of the plants” as the cold weather was blowing in and we were so cold. We started discussing warm climates to give us a false sense of warmth. We were talking about our orlando vacations and how beautiful the beaches were and how good it felt just to relax in the sand and listen to the ocean breeze as it came across the sand. We would imagine where that breeze had come from and what all it had seen as we closed our eyes and enjoyed the sun’s rays as we laid on the beach. I have to admit we were able to bring in all of the plants and we enjoyed it. Afterwards we made a fire and drank some cocoa together and decided as much fun as our vacations are at that moment we wanted to be no where else. So you have decided that this vacation you are going to take that trip that you have always wanted to but have never taken. I know for many of our friends they needed a getaway and after thinking about it decided that instead of a getaway they wanted a vacation that would really be something extra special. My boss came by later that day and as he wanted to see me, my secretary opened my door and saw my chair turned backwards and told my boss that she thinks I am on vacation. She said much to her surprise he laughed and walked out. I did not hear from him the rest of the day until we were leaving. As we walked to the parking lot he asked me if I had a good vacation! When I told him what actually happened he said he knew what she meant because he does it,too! He then said every time we come to his office and he is”in a meeting” he is actually on a 60 second trip himself and he is on Outer Banks vacations in the Carolinas! I told him on my next vacation I would see him there. All you have to do is decide how much you want to spend and then pick a location. We always seem to go to the same places because we have to wait a year to go again by the time vacation time rolls around everyone is ready to go back. So many of our friends are going on Vegas vacations this year. You can get a hotel room for a good price and there are so many good places to eat and a lot to do and see. You do not have to go far to do anything. There are definate reasons that this vacation should be on the top of the list. Especially if you are vacationing on a budget. When you go to Vegas you can spend quite a bit or just a little and enjoy it. We are excited for our vacation this year everyone needs to have things just stop for a little while and catch your breath. One of the most beautiful places to go for vacation is Orlando Florida. We always love to go to the white sandy beaches and the great resorts. My family has decided that this year we are going to take an Orlando vacations. We wanted to pick a vacation place that was relaxing and just fun to be in although there are a lot of attractions in Orlando we are just going to enjoy the beach. We are going to pack a few things and head off to a relaxing vacation with no definite plans. We usually have everything planned out with a lot of things that we are going to do and see when we get there but this time we are just taking it as we want to. I had a friend of ours suggest going the unplanned route instead of over planning so we will see how it turns out but either way Orlando here we come. |
