In the late seventies came a cultural phenom called  Star Wars.  Yes I was wearing “May the force be with you” shirt in my junior picture in the high school year book. It seems like a days does not go by without one me dogs doing something they were not supposed to and getting hurt with a nick or scratch. Kinda remind me of my children. One of the problems is that my dogs like to stay outside, just about all day, this gives them lots of time to destroy, play and get themselves nicked up. This is why we keep a stash of pet care products in the critter cabinet for those times when they have been sticking their noises in all the wrong places. And it being summer we are well stocked to kill all the fleas that are running about outside as well.  Honestly you have to an inspection once a week just to check for scratches, bites, grown n toe nails and spider bites or bee stings.  Yes, too much time on their hands or should I say paws to explore.

My family was out one day in our car and this car beside us just felt he had something to prove. He kept trying to get us to race and revving his engine. I explained to my teenage daughters and son that I was not going to speed because he asked me to. He was very persistent. Finally we were getting off the highway and so did he. He did all of his scratching off as I explained to my passengers that his parents probably bought his tires so he did not mind wearing them out. He was really having a good time taunting us. When we got to our restaurant he also pulled in. For the first time we could see his car in the light and it was a nice car. I tried to tell my teenagers that they should not be impressed because of a nice car and some crazy driving and no sooner had he parked his car then his lambo doors opened. As the doors went up under the parking lot lights we were all looking with our mouths open. We did not say a word just watched. My youngest child looked at me and said he must have wrecked his car one day with all of that bad driving because his doors were broken. It turns out that he was a nice guy and he told us that you can have those doors put on just about any kind of car with a kit. Who knew?
