My family was out one day in our car and this car beside us just felt he had something to prove. He kept trying to get us to race and revving his engine. I explained to my teenage daughters and son that I was not going to speed because he asked me to. He was very persistent. Finally we were getting off the highway and so did he. He did all of his scratching off as I explained to my passengers that his parents probably bought his tires so he did not mind wearing them out. He was really having a good time taunting us. When we got to our restaurant he also pulled in. For the first time we could see his car in the light and it was a nice car. I tried to tell my teenagers that they should not be impressed because of a nice car and some crazy driving and no sooner had he parked his car then his lambo doors opened. As the doors went up under the parking lot lights we were all looking with our mouths open. We did not say a word just watched. My youngest child looked at me and said he must have wrecked his car one day with all of that bad driving because his doors were broken. It turns out that he was a nice guy and he told us that you can have those doors put on just about any kind of car with a kit. Who knew?

There is something about jewelry that everyone loves. It seems that although we love most jewelry we all have a certain type that makes us do a double take. For myself and my wife it is pearl jewelry. It has such a natural look to it no matter what setting it is in or even if it is a strand of pearls it is just striking. My wife has several pieces of pearl jewelry that she inherited from her mother and grandmother and they have truly stood the test of time. They look as elegant today as they would have back when. On special occasions my wife will wear them but the other day she had on one of the necklaces with a simple pair of jeans and a blouse and it made her look so dressed up. I had to remind her when I said I was taking her to dinner it was only a burger joint.
